You know how I love a pastiche, so I couldn’t resist a little take on the nursery rhyme classic ‘This Little Piggy’. The choices that we all make with the best of intentions are continually held up to scrutiny. They really shouldn’t be - if everyone made the same choices, society couldn’t function. So through the medium of nursery rhyme, I’m using National Poetry Day to applaud all the Mum choices that are made. They may be unconventional, difficult, exhausting, joyful, and split you into a million pieces sometimes, but they are completely valid. All of them.
